About Dudy Noble Field

Dudy Noble Field is a baseball park located on the campus of Mississippi State University, Mississippi State, MS. The stadium's full name is Dudy Noble Field at Polk–Dement Stadium, and it was formerly known as Dudy Noble Field (1967–1998). The stadium has served as the home of the Mississippi State Bulldogs baseball team since 1967. It opened for the public on April 3, 1967, and the architecture was done by Wier Boerner Allin and Janet Marie Smith. Dudy Noble Field is owned and operated by Mississippi State University. With three executive suites, the stadium has a seating capacity of 13,000. Dudy Noble Field has hosted 14 NCAA Regional tournaments, four SEC tournaments (1979, 1981, 1983, and 1988), two NCAA District III tournaments (1973 and 1974), one SEC Western Division Tournament (1995), and three Super Regionals (2007, 2016, and 2019). The largest crowds on the ground are typically drawn by the SEC weekend games, which ultimately gives rise to substantial weekend gatherings. Mississippi State holds the current NCAA record for the largest single-game on-campus baseball attendance in the Dudy Noble Field at 15,586. Dudy Noble Field debuted a new mobile concession ordering service in March 2013 named dawgsnax.com, offering in-seat food delivery for fans in the seating area. The building was demolished in 1986 and renovated in 1987. The second demolishing took place in 2017, and the latest renovation took place in 2018. ICM is the project manager for the stadium.
