The first concert of the venue was held a month after its opening where Michael Buble performed, on September 13. Nebraska’s basketball teams played their first game in the Pinnacle Bank Arena on November 8, 2013. It is the main venue to Nebraska’s state high school basketball tournaments. The arena was honored with the performance of Michael Jackson on June 24-25, 2014, during his “The Immortal World Tour.” WWE Smackdown was hosted at the arena on September 2, 2014, and April 23, 2019.
